PRACTICE BREATHING TECHNIQUES FOR LUNG CAPACITY
We must try
everything we can to fight COVID-19. Prepare by practicing these breathing
techniques for lung cleansing. In addition, buy some lung cleansing plants like
eucalyptus or peppermint. Plants are natural air purifiers you can use in your home.
If you don't want to go stay in your home, go outside on your porch or in your
backyard and practice these breathing techniques:
Diaphragmic breathing is breathing we
are supposed to do naturally, but many of us don't. Many of us picked up poor
breathing habits that throw the body's system out of balance. To do it
correctly, sit in a comfortable position. Lightly, place one hand on your upper
chest and the other on your stomach to feel the flow on your breathing. Inhale
with your stomach pushed out and exhale with your stomach pulled in. Practice daily,
especially with any active activity to get used to diaphragmic breathing.
Next breathing technique is a deep
breathing exercise. When I meditate, I practice deep breathing exercises. Deep
breathing expands the diaphragm muscle and allows for more oxygen and
energy. Remember to use diaphragmic breathing in this deep breathing exercise by inhaling
with your stomach pushed out and exhaling with your stomach pulled in:
Sit down
and close your eyes, and breathe in deeply through your nose. Count to five,
inhaling the entire time. Take as much air in as you can and hold your breath
for several seconds. Exhale with another five count as much air as you
can let out. Repeat 5 to 10 times daily.
